BC Hydro Transmission Program

Donna McGeachie from BC Hydro will discuss the Interior to Lower Mainland Transmission Project, the easement for which runs over Burke Mountain to the Meridian station.

The Interior to Lower Mainland (ILM) Transmission Project will expand the capacity of the essential transmission circuits that bring power from generation resources in the north and southern Interior of the province so that they can continue to reliably deliver clean and renewable energy to the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

The Northeast Coquitlam Ratepayer's Association is a local, community based group that looks out for the interests of the populace of the Northeast Coquitlam and Burke Mountain areas. They meet the third Thursday of every month at 7:00pm at Victoria Hall.

May Days in Port Coquitlam

The City of Port Coquitlam has celebrated May Days since 1923.

This year, participate in a week of activities all leading up to the annual May Day Parade on Saturday, May 12 and Mother's Day Events at Lions Park on Sunday, May 13.

Write us a story, draw a picture, or use your imagination to tell us all about your Supermom!
